Crystal Signature Events kicked off the Month of May with a flavorful and festive presence at Rev, Indiana University Health Foundation’s annual fundraiser at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With 3,500 guests in attendance, this high-profile event brings together culinary excellence, local community, and the racing world. Crystal was honored to be one of the 89 featured chefs and restaurants providing gourmet bites for attendees. Executive Chef Matt Vogel crafted a standout offering: Korean BBQ Short Rib on a Bao Bun topped with vibrant slaw, perfectly paired with IndyCar driver Kyle Kirkwood for an unforgettable culinary-meets-motorsport experience.

When Helio Castroneves joins your guest list, you know it's going to be a night to remember. On May 22nd, Crystal Signature Events proudly catered and managed the prestigious IMS Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, where four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves was honored as the sole inductee of the Class of 2025. This black-tie affair hosted over 500 esteemed guests in a grand setting that combined history, elegance, and reverence. Proceeds from the event benefit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, helping preserve and celebrate the legacy of racing.

The evening began with a sophisticated cocktail reception on the ballroom's promenade, featuring butler-passed hors d'oeuvres like Mini Beef Wellingtons and Cauliflower Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Sauce and Hot Honey. Dinner followed in the grand ballroom, where our team orchestrated a dramatic salad parade featuring a Strawberry Fennel Salad with Citrus Champagne Vinaigrette. The main course included French Lemon Herb Chicken and Braised Short Rib with a Butternut Squash Soufflé and Broccolini. Conquer Paralysis Now Gala: Racing to Recovery Gala

On May 23, the Indiana Roof Ballroom transformed for a night of purpose and glamour as Conquer Paralysis Now raised $2 million at its "Racing to Recovery" Gala. Founded by former IndyCar driver Sam Schmidt, who became a quadriplegic after a racing accident, the organization recently opened its national headquarters in Indianapolis, and this event marked a milestone moment.

The black-tie affair welcomed 400 guests and featured an unforgettable performance by Daughtry, appearances by racing legends like Tony Kanaan and Nolan Siegel, and a moving celebration of resilience and progress in neurological recovery. Crystal’s dinner service included a dynamic salad parade showcasing a Bibb and Arcadian Blend Salad with apples, roasted grapes, pecans, blue cheese, and preserved lemon vinaigrette. The plated entrée featured Carved Beef Filet Medallion with Miso Butter Shrimp, Horseradish Gratin Potatoes, and Baby Bok Choy with Bacon and Peppers. Dessert included a duet of mini Limoncello Ricotta Cheesecake and Chocolate Hazelnut Cake with macerated strawberries. The event also featured a live and silent auction, an Elite Casino gaming experience, and thoughtful accessibility elements, including a ramp to the stage—reinforcing the values at the heart of the evening.

500 Parade Party: Off-Premise Excellence

On May 24th, Crystal Signature Events took to the streets with a major off-premise activation: the National Bank of Indianapolis 500 Parade Party in downtown Indianapolis, serving up to 1,600 guests during the famed 500 Festival Parade. With strategic logistics, a branded refrigerated truck, and a dedicated team, Crystal delivered fresh, flavorful adult and kids boxed lunches to parade-goers in style.

Crystal’s commitment to excellence doesn't end with the final plate—leftover meals were thoughtfully donated to Second Helpings, a local nonprofit focused on hunger relief and culinary job training. This partnership reflects Crystal's values of community care, resourcefulness, and sustainability, even amidst the fast pace of one of the city’s largest weekends.

NTT Data Pre-Race Dinner at The Heirloom

Wrapping up the weekend in elevated style, Crystal Signature Events executed the NTT Data Pre-Race Dinner on May 24th at The Heirloom, an upscale venue nestled in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. With its vintage architecture and modern amenities, The Heirloom offered a sophisticated backdrop for this intimate dinner event attended by 112 guests.

The evening included a Q&A session with drivers Nolan Siegel and Tony Kanaan, two McLarens parked at the entrance for photo ops, and up-close views of TK’s memorabilia and a "Baby Borg" trophy. Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet multi-course dinner, and wine service at tables dressed in Navy Shantung Supernova linens and Vineyard Crossback Chairs. Two signature cocktails—Papaya Punch and Brickyard Breeze—added a custom flair to the bar. A photo booth added a lighthearted and interactive moment, rounding out a night of motorsports excitement and hospitality excellence.
