Crystal was proud and honored to be chosen to provide food and beverage service for Be Nimble’s Garden Pardi at Newfields in commemoration of Juneteenth. The event welcomed more than 1,500 guests and served as the grand finale of their week of festivities.
This annual party with a purpose raises funds and awareness for Be Nimble's mission to create fully diverse and inclusive tech ecosystems and uplift Black and Latinx entrepreneurs.
Guests made a grand entrance on the red carpet leading to Newfields’ Gardens, surrounded by ornate photo walls and colorful selfie stations provided by Gem City and Indy Blooms.
VIP guests enjoyed specialty cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, and entertainment in the Deer Special Events Pavilion as well as on the Lilly House Terrace. Hor d’oeuvres served in the Deer Pavilion included shrimp shooters, bacon and cheddar stuffed tater tots with chive crema, buffalo chicken croquettes topped with blue cheese aioli, and Thai chili garlic fried brussel sprout skewers. Hor d'oeuvres served on the Terrace included brie crostini with blackberry jam and candied almonds and spinach and risotto stuffed mushrooms.
The Lilly House Lawn offered VIP cabanas where guests were met with platters of food and cocktail service. The cabanas were decorated by Innova Arts with luxurious lounge furniture and draping. Cold food options included hummus crostini topped with olive tapenade and sun-dried tomato, barbacoa beef tacos with guacamole, cilantro, pickled red onions, and cotija cheese, and caprese skewers. Warm food options included hot honey chicken waffles with maple bacon jam, mini crab cakes with honey lime chipotle remoulade, and lobster and white truffle mac and cheese bites.
Passed desserts featured salted chocolate brownie bites with caramel drizzle and blueberry bars with lemon glaze.
The Lilly Alee offered all 1,500 guests access to buffalo chicken egg rolls with bleu cheese aioli and celery fringe, shrimp shooters, fruit and cheese kabobs, truffle mac n’ cheese topped with bread crumbs, cajun mac n’ cheese with shrimp and andouille sausage, white cheddar mac n’ cheese with bacon, and food from other vendors like Black Lemon, Comida-Chef Lance George, Burgeezy, Say Cheese, and Big Jay's Kitchen, to supplement the food offered by Crystal Signature Events and support minority-owned businesses.
Two stages showcased over 10 different artists including Alaina Renae, Trap Orchestra, DJ Todd, DJ Lady Locs, DJ FAB, Slick Vic and Ferris, DJ Champ, DJ CAM, and Younglin.
